It's time to put everything in order. Those who believe that Russia, which just recently was a member of the G8 club of leading globe-powers and possessed a powerful and efficient army, suddenly turned into a weak third world country are mistaken. It still remains a powerful force with which the United States and Europe cannot fail to reckon.
It is possible to curse president Putin as much time as one wants, but this does not mean at all that he has become an inadequate and unpredictable person suffering from mental illness. We have in him a clever, prudent and cunning chekist-misanthropist who is not scrupulous in choosing the means necessary to achieve his chosen goal [chekist – an agent of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution, Profiteering and Corruption (1917-1922), in Russian ЧК (СheKa) in short; a synonym for contemporary national security agent. – L.B. ]. It is thanks to these qualities and the ability to understand people that Putin had ascended to the pedestal of power. This path is covered with the corpses of those who tried to confront him and prevent from achieving his desired goal. Putin is not prone to adventure, although not devoid of ambitions.
The annexation of Ukraine has been being prepared carefully and a long time ago [since 1992. – L.B.]. All possible scenarios for the development of events were planned in order to ensure success in the upcoming operation, which was confirmed by the seizure of the Crimea.
When the US was preparing to invade Libya, the Pentagon strategists also seemed to have foreseen everything that was necessary in such cases, but not just what they encountered when they tried to bring troops in this country. Their Command was smart enough to hide information about the circumstances that had prevented the conduct of the ground operation, although they failed to understand the causes of what happened, because that what they had to face didn't explicitly fit into the framework of human vision of the possible.
The recurrence of the Libyan “phenomenon” in Syria only reinforced their suspicions that they had come under the influence of a powerful and sentient Force, whom one could not resist with the available human means of warfare. The next step was the United States' refusal of the role of world gendarme.
"Libyan history" has recurred in Ukraine, but only this time Russia was the aggressor. Putin had no reason to worry about the successful outcome of the planned annexation of the mainland Ukraine, given the ease with which the Crimea was captured.
The key to the success should have been not only the use of the well-armed elite units of the Airborne Forces, but also the concerted actions of the GRU specialists and the “fifth column,” which were already in Ukraine [GRU – General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate. – L.B. ]. We are talking about a huge number of people who are called upon to stop any attempts by the Ukrainian authorities to resist the upcoming invasion by the occupation forces.
The Russian special services during the rule of Yanukovich not only destroyed the armed forces of Ukraine, but also completed infiltration of their agents in all government structures, party and public organizations of the country.
In parallel, there was carried out an expansion of the Russian business, which bought plants, enterprises and entire industries of the country in bulk. In such circumstances, Ukraine a priori couldn't resist the annexation by Russia.
In 2004, the Russian military, which were stationed around rebellious Kiev already faced the “strange circumstances” that made their participation in the armed dispersal of the Maidan impossible and thwarted the Russian regular army units' planned invasion of Ukraine with the aim of providing “fraternal assistance” to its people. The conservative thinking of the Russian military contributed to the fact that the reasons for their failure were categorized as random, and the measures taken on the basis of their conclusions had only an organizational character.
The “strange circumstances” also made themselves felt immediately after Yanukovich's accession to power in 2010, when Russia tried to bring a limited military contingent into the territory of Ukraine, as it did in Belarus and other “fraternal” republics of the former USSR. Alas, but the “circumstances” were once again stronger than Putin’s desire, and Ukraine became the only state in the post-Soviet space where Russia's interests couldn't be secured by the presence of a limited military contingent.
This thwarted the plans of the Kremlin’s host, designed to ensure the “voluntary” entry of Ukraine into the Russian Federation, and as far as Yanukovich was forced to stay at his post, Putin had to look for other ways to realize the annexation of Ukraine. In view of this situation, there was considered as an intermediate option the creation of the criminal regime of Yanukovich, who together with his bandits would've become the guarantor of the promotion of Russian interests in Ukraine and ensure its “peaceful” entry into the “one and indivisible.”
The "unauthorized" flight of the Ukrainian president and his team left no other choice for Putin than to resort to the forceful option of annexing Ukraine. Apparently, it did not occur to him that the reason for such an inadequate act of the president of Ukraine could be the “strange circumstances” that the Russian military had already encountered before. Scilicet they had been turning any military unit, which was invading the territory of Ukraine into muddle-headed "civilians" who were unable to carry out the tasks assigned to them. The “quiet” seizure of the Crimea played a cruel joke with the Russian president, giving hope for a positive outcome of the upcoming annexation of the mainland Ukraine.
It turns out that already before the seizure of the Crimea, the Russian president was forced to follow not his own wishes regarding the choice of means to achieve the goal, but the pressure of the external "strange circumstances." Hence the series of incomprehensible actions of the Russian military, which were triggered by the decision to occupy Ukraine.
As for the so-called "strange circumstances," in fact they are a visualization of the activities of the Force that is sentient and motivated to suppress Russia's aggressive actions towards Ukraine. The Force itself doesn’t care what opinion people have about the actions it performs. Force can affect not only the motivation of human actions, but also the properties of objects of inanimate nature.
As a result, today we see an impressive number of casualties among Russian terrorists and military, as well as constant problems with their weapons and equipment. For the same reasons, Russian satellites explode and missiles fall. There operate the technologies that humanity has no idea about. So far this is just a warning.
Vain are the terrorists' exertions, who are shelling residential areas of the occupied cities. There is no panic among the population and cannot be, but it is constantly present in the minds of the terrorists themselves, and with it their desire for suicide is growing.
Reasonable people from the number of mercenaries urgently leave the territory of Ukraine, so as not to turn into a cargo "200" [cargo "200" (code name) – the code word referring to casualties for transportation in the Russian military. – L.B.]. 3500 killed – such is the price for deployment of the Russia's regular army units in Ukraine. And this is statistics for just one month, according to official sources. In reality, the rate of the losses among the elite units of the Russian army is much greater, not to mention the number of wounded soldiers. And this is the result of fighting with the Ukrainian volunteers who have only a two-week training.
Within the framework of the ordinary life it is difficult to find an explanation for such facts. Furthermore, there is no sense doing this. For outside observers, the very result is important and they interpret it as a fact of the low level of combat readiness of the Russian troops, which threatens Russia with an increase in the likelihood conduct of reconnaissance-in-force on the part of some neighboring states that have territorial claims to it.
In the case of confirmation of data on the above-mentioned ratio of casualties in the conflict with Ukraine, it is quite expected that there can occur a large-scale invasion of foreign troops into the territory of Russia. He sows the wind, shall reap the whirlwind. The only right decision for the Russian leadership is the withdrawal of troops from the territory of Ukraine and the closure of the Novorossiya project, but Putin’s own ambitions can be an obstacle to it.
Only a weak Ukrainian power can give credibility to promises and “goodwill” of the Russian president. He is compelled to submitting to the pressure of external circumstances and to moving on to imitating the agreements with Ukraine.
In fact, his thoughts, like the actions of his military specialists, are aimed at finding the best ways out of the current situation. He needs time and he is trying to win it by preserving the uncertainty of the situation with the DPR (so called Donetsk People's Republic ) and the LPR (so called Luhansk People's Republic ). We are no longer talking about the annexation of Ukraine or the occupation of the South-East of the country, but about maintaining influence on the processes taking place in it.
He plays into the hands of Poroshenko and keeps him in constant tension. Putin has seen right through the Ukrainian president and easily manipulates him, knowing the latter’s ambitions and his desire to go down in the annals of history as a “peacemaker.” But if it were not for the “external circumstances”, then Ukraine, following the Crimea, would have long ago entered in the Russian Federation. Putin knows this, but Poroshenko – doesn't. Hence, a demonstration of his weak position, an attempt to find support and protection in the USA and Europe.
Ukrainian president is rather a 'banal huckster' than a businessman, and not a politician, while Putin bases himself on a special training at the KGB school and the whole might of Russia. It is scilicet it that he pushes in Poroshenko's face. The only snag is that the Minsk agreements are not worth a farthing. Russian terrorists continue the shelling of anti-terrorist operation forces' positions and provoke firefights.
But it is now of little concern for Poroshenko, as well as for those who are running for the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) in the upcoming elections. They are busy with their usual activities: they divide posts, property, and wrangle budget money.
True, their ability to do this is limited by Western investors, who in return for loans require real reforms and the fight against corruption. With regard to the completion of the ATO and the expulsion of terrorists from the Ukrainian land, the government initiated granting a special status to the occupied territories for the period of three years, having thus revived Yanukovich bandit's regime there. It looks like that scilicet he and his accomplices were promised the forgiveness of all sins, and also the restoration of the infrastructure and various objects destroyed by the assailants at the expense of the Ukrainian people. But there is just one catch – the terrorists themselves do not want a special status, but recognition of the LPR and the DPR as a new state with its subsequent entry into the Russian Federation.
Therefore, the military confrontation in the Donbass continues despite the "peaceful incantations" on the part of the Ukrainian authorities. Instead of ending the conflict, we are nourished with the illusion of peace for three years, which may collapse tomorrow and turn for Ukraine into a loss of new territories. This power was not and will not be the people's one, even if its ranks will be “diluted” by the commanders and participants of the ATO forces. No one has passed the test of power.
One thing pleases: man proposes, and God disposes. I do not think that the Creator would defend Ukraine from Russia's aggression in order to give it to the mercy of businessmen in the state power. They believe that they have come for a long time, but in reality they are mistaken. They are not the "kingpins" at this Feast of life.
