The human being is arranged so that in any life situation s/he performs his/her acts based on personal or public experience, trying to find in them analogies to the events of the present day, in order to predict the likely options for their development. Everything flows and changes, which means that any of us could find ourselves in a situation, where all that’s happening, will not find analogies in our minds and we will have to act in accordance with our natural instincts.
We are talking about non-standard situations that require solutions adequate to the reality of what is happening, and not our ideas about it.
The Ukrainians found themselves in a situation of this kind, when there began fighting clashes with the Russian aggressor. Their ideas about the enemy suggested the lack of chances for effective resistance because of its clear superiority in numbers, weapons and logistical support.
The reality of the goings-on was different: the ratio of losses of the aggressor and the defending side cannot be explained logically. If the number of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers counts for dozens, then the Russian military calculate their losses by hundreds and thousands of the killed terrorists. It should be noted that the aggressor was confronted by poorly armed military volunteer formations and a small number of combat-ready military units that remained in the Ukrainian army after its "reforming" preformed by the team of Yanukovich.
The results of the fighting have given the soldiers and field commanders of the Ukrainian army a well-founded belief that they are not only able to resist the aggressor, but can also defeat it, which cannot be said about the senior officers of the General Staff. These gentlemen don’t believe in the victory of the Ukrainian weapons, appealing to the "capabilities" of the Russian military machine, thus ignoring the gathered experience of combat operations and victories over its elite units and divisions.
The Ukrainian government also feels the same "piety" for the military power of Russia, and because of that refuses to believe in the objective nature of what is happening and prefers to explain the events by the presence of a certain willful intent and cunning on the part of the Russian president.
It seems that the horror story about a possible full-scale invasion of the Russian troops is quite consciously used by it to manipulate the public consciousness. Because for the authorities it is necessary to argue at least slightly convincingly the refusal to conduct military operations in favor of seeking a "peaceful" solution to the conflict through agreements with the aggressor to the detriment of the interests of the Ukrainian State.
The Minsk negotiating process is a theatrical action designed to hide from the people of Ukraine the true meaning of what is happening: the cowardly and incompetent power wants to preserve itself and ensure its continued existence by the way of betraying and surrendering a part of the country's territory to the enemy. Arguments in favor of the negotiation process were to become two "pockets": the first one – near Ilovaisk, and the second one – near Debaltsevo. The same goals were pursued by a unilateral ceasefire by the Ukrainian military, which was supposed to bind them, making it easier for the enemy to seize the "territory due by agreement". That way there was surrendered to the enemy the Donetsk airport, and on the queue there were the towns of Schastye and Debaltsevo. It is possible that Mariupol was also included in this list.
In Minsk there was held a meeting of the power brokers, on which Putin received a proposal that, according to Poroshenko and his European friends, could satisfy the appetites of the Russian president. The only thing is why would he need a couple of areas, if his plans include the annexation of the whole of Ukraine? But how can he bring the planned action to life, if "external circumstances" don’t allow this to happen?
Poroshenko naively believed that "the Great of the World" would come to the defense of him and not allow Russia to devour Ukraine. In fact, there was an unspoken agreement, according to which Russia was given a free hand to annex Ukraine, provided that she would do it quickly and "quietly."
This happened with the Crimea, but with the continental part there was a hitch, and the "timely" annexation of Ukraine did not take place.
It was scilicet the "sluggishness" of Putin and his military that caused the discontent of the West. The inadequate hint of the Russian president that England and the United States also didn’t shun such means in resolving territorial issues, not only disavowed the agreement, but also increased disagreements among former partners.
Putin can be understood, because the reason for the "difficulties" with Ukraine he saw in possible "intrigues" of the USA and their European partners, who allegedly decided to "frame" him.
Negotiations of the "Norman Quartet" did not ever have sway over Putin, nor have it now; besides, Europe itself is not particularly interested in the deterioration of relations with Russia. The task of Berlin and Paris was to tame the "stubborn" Ukraine, so that she resignedly agreed with any demands of the Russian president.
The only snag was that no one understood the actions of Putin himself and the reasons for his irrational “fuss” around the occupied territories of Ukraine, although he had at his fingertips a well-armed and numerous army that was capable, as Zhirinovsky boasted, of "getting out to German border and there in two hours just take Berlin, Vienna, Paris and London."
According to the USA and Europe, the very existence of the independent state of Ukraine next to Russia is nonsense. The only thing is that the time passes, and contrary to the "agreements" of the authorities, the Ukrainian military and volunteers grind down the personnel, as well as the equipment of the Russian army’s elite units.
There is no intelligible explanation for this phenomenon, but military experts of the United States have already begun to think about the obvious fact of its presence, as they see in it a hint of the existence of yet another participant in the current events, whose capabilities and actions have already made a significant correction to the plans of aggressive Russia.
It would be worthwhile for the Russian military to think hard about the causes of the problems that occurred, when separatists and mercenaries suffered huge losses in battles with the Ukrainian military volunteers, as far as their complaints about the poor quality of weapons and military equipment and the high percentage of their refusal spoke about the non-random nature of what was happening.
The introduction of the Russian units into the combat zone, which faced the same problems as the puppets of the Kremlin in the Donbas, confirmed this and raised the question of the real fighting efficiency of the entire Russian army.
For some reason no one thinks about the fact that the metamorphoses taking place with the Russian military in Ukraine can expand their geography and cover the entire space of the Russian Federation. Overnight, the country can lose all means of protection and become easy prey for those neighbors, who have territorial claims to it.
Apparently, just as we can observe it today in Ukraine, territorial integrity is a problem of the peoples of Russia, and not of its power. "The International of bandits and thieves" calls all the shots in the territory of the countries of the former USSR, trying to teach the population to live in accordance with the "rules", and not according to the law. The people of Ukraine came across scilicet with it, when they threw off the hated regime of Yanukovich. The ideas and the very air of freedom of the Maidan became a real threat to its existence. This is the true reason for the fierce hatred, with which there is poisoned the consciousness of the population of the Russian Federation by the media of Putin's regime and his accomplices from the cooperative "Ozero” (i.e. Lake).
If we compare the condition of the state administration apparatus that remained after the fall of the Yanukovych regime to the beheaded dragon, then, figuratively speaking, the current powers that be in Ukraine became its new heads attached in a hurry to the old body. The trouble is that these heads are not able to control the "body of the dragon", so they only talk about some intentions, and, not having a chance to confirm their legal capacity through the resumption of its movements, are only able to simulate them.
Here hence many words and no reforms in the country. It's time for the people to understand that changes in Ukraine will begin only after there will be carried away the "paralyzed" dragon’s body, which the new government is vainly trying to "reanimate".
The Maidan's ideas about the formation of self-government through self-organization have already found their embodiment in the movement of civil volunteers, as well as the organization of self-defense of the country. Those were these two components that became the basis for the successful counteraction of the military volunteer detachments to the expansion of the Russian aggressor in the east of Ukraine.
The so-called "power" is only getting in the way of the people, forging with its unthinking and incompetent decisions and actions the activity of those who have proven themselves capable of smashing the enemy and driving it out of the Motherland.
While in Ukraine there is a current system of power as a phenomenon of social life, this is hardly achievable. Its elimination will open the way to the liberation of the annexed territories and the establishment of peace, and to the radical reorganization of society on the basis of real democracy through various forms of self-organization and self-government of the people in accordance with the Creator's Providence.
